Professional Development
We run a number of professional development (PD) sessions throughout the year to help new assessors and moderators start confidently in their roles, and to refresh the skills and knowledge of seasoned assessors and moderators. Common terms and abbreviationsThere is a lot of 'jargon', or terms and abbreviations specific to the tertiary training industry, that you'll come across in your role as an assessor or moderator.

Corey Neal Corey is based in our Newmarket, Auckland office and services the top half of the North Island from Cape Reinga to north of Taupo. Mark Greig Mark is based in our Lower Hutt office and services the lower half of the North Island - from Wellington up to Taupo, and across to the Taranaki and Hawkes Bay regions.
Ken Culverwell Ken is based in our Christchurch office and services the whole of the South Island.
Brian Lane Brian is based in our Newmarket, Auckland office and travels nationally to service high schools using our Tools4Work pre-moderated materials. Tools4Work resources are used by teachers all over New Zealand to aid the delivery and assessment of Level 1 and Level 2 mechanical engineering unit standards.
