We’ve boosted our team of Moderators, which is working hard to ensure Competenz national qualifications are delivered to the high level that employers, apprentices, trainees and the public expect.
We now have four Moderators checking that assessment outcomes meet national standards. Our Moderators also advise and support workplace assessors, check that decisions are valid and consistent, and ensure that course materials and resources meet industry needs.
Workplace assessors are moderated every three years, usually by post. Competenz also organises refresher workshops for assessors.
