Improvements coming for RCC and RPL processing

Many customers recently told us the Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) processes continue to be areas of frustration for them. In response, our QA team is spearheading initial moves to improve these processes while providing a more rationalised fee structure.


A key step will be to ensure Competenz-registered workplace assessors are trained to conduct assessment of prior learning and current competency, and to facilitate any remedial training learners may require.


"A project team has been set up to evaluate these processes by qualification, and we'll be working to speed up the RCC and RPL process and to make it easier without undermining the competency standards that industry expects," says project team member and moderator Corey Neal.
