Modern Apprenticeship Programme

Print
If your apprentice is 16-21 years of age, they may be suited to a Modern Apprenticeship Programme (MAP), where a Modern Apprenticeship Co-ordinator (MAC) visits at least 4 times a year to coach and mentor your apprentice, in addition to your Competenz Account Manager's support.

MACs are funded by government, so their services are free to you including literacy and numeracy support for apprentices who need it.

A MAC can also help with recruiting, working to find a suitable candidate (16 to 21 years of age) at no charge.

To find a MAC for your region and industry sector, visit the modern apprenticeships website at www.modern-apprenticeships.govt.nz

Talk to your Competenz Account Manager for more information.
