Competenz Provider Awards

Provider awards

Competenz held their first Provider Awards on Monday 14th April at the FoxGlove in Wellington. Eleven providers attended, celebrating successful partnerships and acknowledging the amazing work Polytechnics invest into the ongoing development of our apprentices. The guest speaker was Cecilia Sullivan-Grant, Kiwibank Local Hero of the Year 2014 and a pioneer in the promotion of apprenticeships.

Rachel Hopkins, GM Marketing of Competenz hosted the event, Phil Hurford, Programme Manager Trades, talked about Block Courses in 2014 and Bill Sole, Industry Leadership Manager, gave an update on what’s happening with the Targeted Review of Qualifications in 2014. The day was a resounding success and reinforced our relationships with our Block Course Training Providers for our apprentices.
