Have your say - Mechanical Engineering Targeted Review of Qualifications

It’s time to have your say on the future of New Zealand’s Mechanical Engineering qualifications. The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) has initiated a review of all 70 Mechanical Engineering qualifications – and Competenz is leading the process.

Qualification developers and other relevant stakeholders are invited to attend an initial stakeholder workshop.  

Venue: Butterfly Creek, 12 Tom Pearce Drive, Auckland Airport
Date: Wednesday 8th May
Time: 9:30am – 4:30pm Parking: plenty of on-site parking available.

The purpose of the stakeholder workshop is to officially start the Mechanical Engineering TROQ, and to agree on the process.

The following topics will be discussed:
Governance and Working Groups
Application processes
Terms of References
Expectations
Dividing the review into manageable and meaningful areas
Timelines  

Your input and support are essential for the review to be a success, and we welcome either yourself, or a representative from your organisation to join this workshop.
