Plastics and materials processing graduates celebrate in Christchurch

Over 35 plastics and materials processing graduates along with their companies and families attended the 2013 Competenz Christchurch Graduation celebrations at Peppers Clearwater Resort last Wednesday.

This is the first time the event was run by Competenz after the organisation merged with PaMPITO on 1 October, 2013. The event was hosted by Barbara Wilkinson, Chief Executive of PaMPITO and included an introduction to Competenz by General Manager Strategy and Integration, Fiona Kingsford.

The guest speaker for the evening was Dillon Boucher ex- professional basketball player. Dillon spoke of the importance of improving every day in training, as well as encouraging the attendees to make small but smart changes to their lives to improve their performance. 2013 Commitment to Training Award - Alto Packaging Southern Division
2013 Services to Training Award - Peter Topham, Extrusion Manager, RX Plastics, Ashburton

The evening was a great celebration of the hard work of the graduates, as well as acknowledging the support of their families and companies. Congratulations to all our graduates.
