What is SpeedMeet
Got A Trade SpeedMeet brings you the opportunity to meet with potential employees speed-dating style with seven minute mini-interviews with secondary school students. And it’s free!
The Got A Trade? Got It Made! team organise for local schools to bring along interested and engaged pupils who are ready and willing to discover trades and services as a career pathway. All you have to do is turn up ready to meet keen young people who are looking for a job and a career – we’ll do the rest.
We request that you attend SpeedMeet with jobs available, that may lead to an apprenticeship or on-the-job training programme that leads to a qualification. We ask that your organisation is able to attend from approximately 9:30am-2pm (you might like to share the interviewing with multiple team members). We will require you to sign up to the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs Pledge. This Pledge simply means that your organisation commits to ‘the development of our young people and to their employability’. By attending our Got a Trade SpeedMeet you’ve already committed to the Pledge! Find out more about the Mayors Taskforce for Jobs.
Registration has now closed for 2017!
