Climate Control Limited and Climate Control Services Limited (CCSL) are a small to medium size owner-operated business that has been in operation since 1985. We have a team of dedicated employees and sub-contractors that together form a good knowledgeable group of experienced tradespeople. Because of our size and the style of work that we undertake we feel that we can offer any trainee a great work environment that will cover a good mix of commercial and residential work available within our industry.

While expecting the best from any personnel that we may employ our workplace environment remains strict but fair and will provide a good learning environment for the correct applicant.


About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

We are currently seek an additional Air Conditioning Service Technician Trainee to join our service team to assist with maintenance and service duties of air conditioning systems throughout the greater Auckland region.

First duties would be to get inducted to CCSL H&S requirements and from there a trainee duties will vary almost daily depending upon the customer and type of equipment that we are required to work on.

CCSL employ qualified tradespeople and time served Apprentices so a new trainee would be always under the guidance of one of our staff - until they have achieved an acceptable level of technical training.


About You          


A pre-trade is preferred but not essential. An ability or desire towards working with tools is a definite bonus.  You will also need -

  • NCEA Level 2 in English and Maths
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • To be tidy and well presented
  • To be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • A good level of physical fitness as daily tasks involve physical work
  • A great attitude and keeness to learn
  • To be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • A Full NZ Driver’s Licence is preferred but not essential.  A Restricted Licence with eligibility to take your Full Licence 6-12 months from starting, as you will drive company vehicles to sites and suppliers in this role



Ngā Hāora  

Hours will be discussed with you at interview with CCSL.  Standard hours are, 40 per week based on 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday.   Occasional overtime and weekend work is available.
