Over the past 20+ years Domett has become well recognized for its premium quality trailer builds and has grown into a leading Australasian truck trailer manufacturer. For the team at Domett, trailer building is a fine balance between crafting a piece of art and science.
Our manufacturing is something that has come out of combining years of experience, from listening to customers and searching the world for the latest innovations. We are continuously investing in on the job training through apprenticeships and upskilling our staff to ensure workmanship of the highest standard within the trucking industry. Accordingly, we stand behind our products with technical support and repairs.
Mō Te Huarahi
Within our New Builds Team you'll be working on the production line and responsible for fabricating and welding our truck and trailer units including, chassis, beams, frames, decks, components and parts where required.
This position is for someone who has an interest in learning new skills and gaining a qualification within engineering fabrication. To begin with, you will be working on the fabrication production line, making and assembling parts for our truck trailer units.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a supportive team and will enjoy an early finish on a Friday.
Mōu
No experience required for this role, full training is provided. You will need to -
Ngā Hāora
Hours will be discussed with you at interview with Domett Trucks & Trailers. Standard hours are 40, Monday to Thursday 7am to 4.30pm and Friday 7am to 3.30pm.
Te Tohu
New Zealand Certificate in Engineering Fabrication (Trade) (Level 4) with strand in Heavy Fabrication
