About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

We have a great variety of work, and our new apprentice will learn new skills daily. We currently have five apprentices with different levels of experience, everyone is here to help. Our fabrication team are all very social and supportive both in and outside the workplace.  First duties will be preparing components for fabrication.


About You          


This is an entry level opportunity, no previous experience required.  To be successful you will need –

  • To be keen to learn
  • NCEA Level 2 in English and Maths
  • A great worth ethic
  • To be able to work well in a team
  • To think ahead and have a creative mindset
  • A Restricted of Full Driver’s Licence – as you will need to pick up or drop off in this role


Ngā Hāora  

Hours will be discussed with you at interview with Profile Metals.  Standard hours are 7am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 4pm on Friday. Overtime is available at time and half after 46.5 hours.



Te Tohu  

New Zealand Certificate in Engineering Fabrication (Trade) (Level 4) with strand in Light Fabrication
