Pure Print is a design, print and promotions company based in Tauranga dedicated to providing an efficient, personal service to our business and government agency customers nationwide.

The Pure Print team is largely comprised of print industry specialists.  Our work requires quick turnaround using various processes on modern technology, while still retaining traditional processes to deliver specialist, high volume projects with equal efficiency and quality.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Print Finisher Apprentice to train and work in our busy bindery department.

About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

Print finishers use a range of hand and machine skills to put the finishing touches on a printed product including gluing, stapling, and folding.  The apprenticeship program will give you a good foundation for a career in the Print industry. This is a full-time, entry level role based in Tauranga.

Functions of the role include:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Diagnose and resolve common problems
• A high level of personal initiative, and motivation
• Willing to work to deadlines

About You          

Mōu 

If you are an energetic, confident person with excellent communication skills, who can work in a team environment, then this is an opportunity for you. You will also need the following attributes -  

• Detail and results orientated, with emphasis on a strong eye for detail
• Team player with exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• A confident, self-starter with a “can do” attitude who is not afraid to ask questions when required
• Respects and values others, their opinions, and tasks
• NCEA Level 2 in English and Maths
• Restricted Driver’s Licence as a minimum for this opportunity

Hours    

Ngā Hāora  

Hours will be discussed with you at interview with Pure Print.  Standard hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday.
