Apprentice Training New Zealand (ATNZ) is the largest employer of mechanical engineering apprentices in New Zealand. They are currently looking for mechanically minded individuals for a number of engineering opportunities.
About the job
Training as an Engineer will give you a broad variety of skills and knowledge. General engineers learn about fitting, machining, welding, maintenance, repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication.
The successful apprentice will be employed by the ATNZ Trust and assigned to a locally respected company where they will gain valuable on-the-job training while studying to become a qualified engineer.
You will be a keen learner looking for a hands-on opportunity. Professionalism in the workplace will prove you successful in this role, so you will need to possess great reliability, punctuality and self-presentation.
