Barry has played a big part in helping me become a better apprentice. He’s shown me what real attention to detail looks like within the trades subtlety — especially with his obsession for stainless steel fasteners, which he insists on using everywhere, even in spots where they’ll never see a hint of rust. He’s always reminding me that “there are levels to install,” and, of course, he’s at the very top — just ask him! Every Friday around 1500 we hit what he calls the “grey zone,” where the tools slow down, the banter picks up, and the drum and bass soundtrack gets turned up a notch. Beyond the laughs, he’s supported me every step of the way and inspired me along the way. being two English blokes on site, we definitely get our fair share of moaning in which, honestly, makes the workday that much better.
