Cheyne has gone above and beyond for me from the moment I started my apprenticeship at Bluestar. Coming from someone who had no idea about the ins and outs of a printing business, he has taken the time everyday to help me further my knowledge in the industry. He thoroughly explains anything i’m not sure of and he makes sure that i’m up to date with my assignments while maintaining his own workload. He’s somebody I look up to a lot and makes me think I could be in a position to help other people when i’m out of my time as an apprentice. If there’s anybody I know that deserves every bit of recognition for being the best mentor, it would be him. His willingness to help, his compassion and his dry jokes are only some of the reasons I enjoy learning from him. If it wasn’t for Cheyne, I honestly wouldn’t have lasted this long in my apprenticeship. All you have to do is have a conversation with him and you’ll know exactly what i’m talking about.
