Lois has been the person who’s helped me the most. He spends countless hours, both at work and in his own time, marking my assessments and guiding me through things I struggle with. He pushes me when I need it, but he’s always supportive at the same time. I wouldn’t be progressing the way I am without his help. When I get something wrong he doesn’t give me the answer, he guides me in a way that I can work it out for myself. I have had a few blonde moments with Lois and he has not held it against me at all like for example when we were doing maintenance and I was reading my electrical tester as 400 V but it was clearly 4.00 V and I was just not paying attention. I did buy him a coffee but that was the end of that. He explained to me that I need to know my meter and he won’t tell anyone as long as I’ve learnt my lesson which I did!
