The purpose of this qualification is to provide the manufacturing sector with people who have the knowledge and skills to work as an operator in a manufacturing plant. This qualification is designed for people already working in a manufacturing sector.
Graduates will be able to work safely under limited supervision.
The optional Productivity Improvement strand provides recognition of further skills and knowledge in the specialised area of productivity improvement.
