QTI is an industry peak body representing thirty privatetertiary providers that operate at scale with a focus on quality, together teaching well over 100,000 domestic and international students across New Zealand. QTI engages regularly with government, including TEC, NZQA and theMinistry of Education, through the education sector Peak Body Forum anddirectly with ministers and senior officials.Membership is by election and carries strict quality requirements. Competenz has joined at a pivotal time for vocational education, advocating for work-based learners and the employers who train them, keeping training close to industry.

The Southern Wood Council is a regional industry organisation dedicated to promoting the sustainable economic development of the forest and wood processing sector across Otago and Southland. It provides a collective voice on industry issues, drives collaboration, and champions workforce development and environmental stewardship. Competenz is proud to support the Southern Wood Council in nurturing future forestry talent and strengthening connections between training and real-world industry needs.
