New Zealand Certificate in Furniture (Level 2) with strands in Cabinetmaking, Furniture Finishing, and Upholstery

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the furniture industry with people who have the skills and knowledge to work safely as a new entrant in the industry.  
Graduates will be able to meet workplace safety requirements and use basic knowledge and techniques under general supervision in a furniture industry workplace.
This is an entry level qualification, designed for people already working in the industry or people wishing to enter the industry in an entry level role.
The strands recognise entry level skills in either: Cabinetmaking, Furniture Finishing, or Upholstery.
