Lacquerland is a small, close-knit paint shop specialising in high-quality finishes. We paint kitchens, house doors, furniture, and also provide furniture repairs and repolishing services. Additionally, we paint glass splashbacks. Our small team prides itself on strong working relationships with clients and a focus on quality craftsmanship.

About the Opportunity

Mō Te Huarahi  

You’ll learn how to prepare jobs for topcoating, use spray guns, mix undercoats, and apply finishes. This role also involves helping to load and unload items for clients, stripping furniture, and sanding in preparation for finishing. You’ll gain experience in using different stains and learn the correct application techniques.

The role involves some heavy lifting, and you’ll need to work to a high standard, sometimes unsupervised. Full training will be provided, with a focus on using two-pot finishes. You’ll be part of a small team of three.
