We are a small engineering company with a good reputation for quality work and integrity. We are looking for the right person to start an apprenticeship with us. As an apprentice you will be trained on the job. At the completion of your apprenticeship, you will have a qualification as a General Engineer. Training as a General Engineer will give you a broad range of engineering skills and knowledge. You will learn about fitting, machining, welding, maintenance, repair, hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication. Training with us will ensure you get a very wide range and variety of work which will give you an excellent start in your engineering career. Do you fit the profile? Do you want to earn while you learn? Are you committed to 3-4 years of study? You need to have at least 3 years of secondary education and obtained at least NCEA Level 1 in English and maths, with ideally Technology, Science and Graphics. Have you completed a pre trade course or have an interest in mechanical subjects? Proven reliability, team player? Do you have a restricted or full license? NZ Citizen?
