About the Opportunity

The Station Supervisor, GSE is responsible for assisting the station manager with or oversight, scheduling and upholding company standards regarding maintaining, inspecting, and repairs on various types of mechanical equipment to both ULD and GSE used in airport operations. This role requires a hands-on approach as the supervisor will engage in repairs.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage and Coordinate the Maintenance, Repair and Operation of Unit Load Device (ULD) and Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

Customer Focus, Collaborate

Collaborate with other airport departments and airlines to provide seamless ground support services and ULD repair operations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and operations for quality assurance.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with equipment vendors and service providers.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department.
Assist with inventory and budgetary control(s) which includes ordering of parts for the repair operations.
Assist mechanics in problem diagnostics and answer technical questions pertaining to equipment.
Repair and service ground support equipment.
Ensure Compliance and Operational Safety

Adhere to aviation safety protocols and equipment maintenance regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised repair shop.
Keep accurate maintenance logs and service records for all repairs and inspections.
Support Preventative Maintenance and Inventory Management

Ensure Accountability, Drive Results

Develop and follow scheduled maintenance plans for all ground support vehicles.
Track and manage inventory of parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance.
Ensure that all tools and equipment are kept in working condition and calibrated regularly.

Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven successful practical experience in GSE maintenance, automotive mechanics, or heavy equipment repair preferred.
Experience leading a team.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is an advantage.
Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical documents.
