The baking programmes provide nationally recognised qualifications that combine practical workplace training with technical knowledge. They equip people with the skills to work in commercial bakeries in roles ranging from entry-level baking through to craft and plant-based production. Training covers producing a range of bakery products (bread, cake, biscuits, pastry), operating baking equipment, understanding baking science, food safety and hygiene, quality control, and working under production or craft-focused conditions.
