About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Directional Driller to join our civil crew in Auckland on a contract / subcontract basis.
If you have solid experience operating Horizontal Directional Drilling rigs (Ditch Witch JT2020) and can confidently track and steer bores, we’d like to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities

‍
• Operating HDD drill rig – Ditch Witch JT2020
• Reading and interpreting service plans and drawings
• Drilling and installing ducting, water, power, and comms services
• Mixing and managing drilling fluids
• Maintaining plant and equipment
• Working with the crew to complete projects safely and efficiently

Requirements

‍
• Proven experience in directional drilling
• Confident tracking and steering bores
• Good understanding of HDD processes and ground conditions
• WTR endorsements preferred
• Class 2–4 licence an advantage
• Good knowledge of site safety and underground services
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
